Welcome in to the latest endeavor from Keith Smith and I. Keith is a Celtics fan, I’m a Lakers fan, and somehow, we co-exist and work together every day without killing each other. Maybe there is hope for peace in this world after all. We appreciate you being here at the Basketball Bulletin and ask that you consider subscribing if you haven’t already. We made the Bulletin as cheap as Substack will allow us to in order for it to be accessible to all.

The NBA’s trade deadline is upon us, which means the clock is ticking for teams to solidify who they are going to be for the rest of the season. After 3 pm ET on Thursday, minor additions can be made from the buyout market, G-League call ups, and the nearly bone-dry pool of free agents, but the foundations will be set and the outcome of the season will rest in the hands of the basketball gods.

Now it’s time for the future to come into focus.
