ARCHETYPE/POTENTIAL ROLE
When he first comes into the NBA he will fill the role of your prototypical play finishing and rim protection big in the mold of a Clint Capela or more recently, Dereck Lively II. This is a role he should be successful in considering how twitchy he is when getting off the floor for lob finishes and offensive rebound putbacks. Defensively, there is still some rawness to his game but he uses all of those physical tools in a very impactful manner that keeps him constantly active and engaged. Has real potential as a difference maker on this end due to his movement ability in ball screen coverages. The bigger upside and ceiling will come from the fact that he has only been playing basketball for a few years and just recently sprouted up to his current height. There have been flashes of a more diverse offensive package that has the potential to grow behind the scenes during his early years in the NBA.
