ARCHETYPE/POTENTIAL ROLE

This is your prototypical 3-and-D forward that possesses all of the qualities that go into that label for me. Yes, to be this archetype you have to be able to knock down catch-and-shoot 3-point attempts which is something that he is doing so at a quality level and has a free throw percentage that gives you more confidence. The mechanics of the jumper, while slow, are also something that I am willing to buy. Being a well rounded off the ball player on offense is something I always factor into this type of player. He is a very instinctual cutter, offensive rebounder and may make as much of an impact in offensive transition than any wing/forward in the class. He will leave something to be desired early in his career in terms of offensive impact with the ball in his hands but he will contribute to offensive flow with ball moving passes. He is an absolute worker on the defensive end and might play with as much intensity and energy as anyone in the class when guarding the opposition. He backs that up with a good understanding of team defensive schemes and rotations. There are plenty of nuanced fundamentals to be ironed out, specifically screen navigation, but the aforementioned intensity he plays with will give him the chance to make an impact early in his career until he irons those things out.
