ARCHETYPE/POTENTIAL ROLE
A multi level scoring guard who can flat out put the ball in the basket. He is NOT just a 3-point shooter but has shown the ability to score the ball from inside the 3-point line, even at his size. Will have to continue to add the nuance and finesse to his finishing package to be successful against NBA level size and defenders. The upside (and discussion) on the offensive end will revolve around his playmaking, feel and ability to be a true primary initiator of an offense. If he has this included in the overall offensive package then the defense is somewhat more manageable. Being a poor defender can sometimes be overblown for draft prospects but that does not seem to be the case here. The size alone could be an issue but he must also learn to give multiple efforts more frequently and be engaged off the ball to be part of an overall defensive scheme. If he can get anywhere close to neutral on this end of the floor, combined with his offensive skills, he is going to be a problem for opposing teams during his NBA career.
