ARCHETYPE/POTENTIAL ROLE

A guard/wing with true secondary and second side creation ability due to the role he has played in college. Do not believe he will play the jumbo creator/do it all role we have seen this past year at California but if those on ball scoring, passing and high feel qualities transition into a true off the ball role it will allow him to feast on second side advantages created. Shooting profile has been just good enough to buy into his floor spacing ability and has shown flashes of the other off the ball skills like cutting and offensive rebounding. There are some questions around his defense and the overall impact on this end of the floor but right now it would be fair to chalk some of that up to the immense amount of energy he must exert offensively. Has the size to be a versatile defender and the feel to be impactful with defensive playmaking and disruption. While not one to one in terms of playstyle, I do think Jaime Jaquez Jr. would be an interesting comparison in terms of an older player who should be ready day one to contribute due to the multi faceted offensive skillset. Worth noting that he has attended three schools in three years which could play a factor in some evaluations.
