ARCHETYPE/POTENTIAL ROLE

A primary initiating guard that has shown enough floor spacing this past season to also offer some combo/off ball guard value. He will not break down a defense out of straight isolation but use his strength, angles and screener well in ball screen situations to create advantages and attack them in nuanced ways. If, and there are some fair questions, the floor spacing is real then you can also play him off the ball and he could be sneaky effective here with good feel for cuts and offensive rebounding. Defensively, he is a true on the ball difference maker that can defend at least the two backcourt positions and may even be able to hold up against smaller wings. Combines that solid on ball defense with plenty of high level disruption and an impact on the boards for a perimeter player.
