ARCHETYPE/POTENTIAL ROLE

A true off the ball shooting guard that you are drafting potentially a year early because you are unsure you can get him if he returns to school and goes higher in the 2025 NBA Draft. Has been a little bit of a late bloomer in the cycle but the 3-point shooting and defensive upside are too good not to generate conversation. Some will point to how much he played with the ball in his hands to him being more than an off the ball player but I didn’t feel like those actions proved to be successful enough to automatically project to the next level. I do think playing off the ball he becomes a positive in terms of attacking closeouts and scrambled defenses along with being a quality passer for that role. I absolutely love the engagement and energy off the ball on the defensive end but have some worries about how he holds up on the ball, especially early in his career.
